(adjective) Describing something related to, or resulting from,  old age. (NOTE: Contrast with the more common word"adolescent")

EXAMPLE: The great classical musician kept his senescent hearing loss a secret from his fans.

To speak frequently and enthusiastically about something.

EXAMPLE: Everybody is raving about the new movie with my favorite actor, so I want to see it this weekend.
