范文示例一：开篇
Today I’ve come back to Hong Kong to stand before you, and account for myself, I’ve never escaped away from my responsibility.
开篇明义，是应用文的基本要素，陈冠希长叹一口气说出的这句话，简单扼要，“我回来了，我会负责”。
范文示例二：论点
I admit most of the photos being circulated on the Internet were taken by me, but these photos were very private, and have not been shown to people, and were never intended(停顿、重读)to be shown to anyone. Their photos were stolen from me illegally, and distributed without my consent. There is no doubt whoever obtained these photos had been uploading them on the Internet with malicious and deliberateintent.文章重要论点，需要反复强调，比如陈冠希这次道歉中反复提及的“apologise”，以及他谈到自己照片并非有意流出时，排比使用意义相近的“private”、“have not been shown to people”、“were never intended(停顿、重读)to be shown to anyone”，还特意停顿下来重读“neverintended”，都是为了加深听众印象，尽可能撇清自己和艳照流传的关系。这种相同意义不同措辞的反复，在陈冠希“范文”中好几个地方都有出现。

虽然陈冠希没有学过英语写作，但从小生活在加拿大的他，对英语措辞拿捏得非常精准。
道歉稿全文所运用的单词都简明易懂，几乎都在常用3000字范围内，就连一个高中生也可以读懂，这是非英语母语者写作时常常忽略的关键标准。简单归简单，陈冠希使用有实际意义的动词和名词时又非常小心，比如“step away”、“Hong Kongen tertainment industry”、“no time refrain”，这为他再度复出或者到其它地方的娱乐圈甚至时尚圈活动，留下许多伏笔。
